Specialist Physiotherapy Appointments
Your first session is all about understanding you and your goals. During your initial assessment, we will take the time to discuss your concerns and medical history, assess how your body moves, identify the root cause of your issue, and explain our findings clearly. Treatment is also included, which often involves a combination of manual therapy and a personalised exercise program. You’ll leave with a clear plan and a better understanding of your road to recovery.
To make getting started easier, we offer a reduced rate for first-time patients. This initial session is identical in quality and duration to a standard initial assessment. You will receive a full clinical assessment, effective treatment, and a tailored rehabilitation plan.
Each follow-up session is designed to support your recovery. We track your progress, adjust your plan to suit your needs, and guide you with hands-on care and exercises that help you feel stronger, more confident, and moving better every step of the way.
Private Health Insurance
We are registered with most private health insurers. If you plan to claim through your policy, please contact your insurer before starting treatment. Please read the below carefully. We're happy to guide you if you have any further questions!
We are registered with AXA PPP, AXA Global, BUPA, and AVIVA - if your treatment has been authorised, we can invoice these insurers directly. Please contact your insurer before starting treatment for the following information:

Each authorisation code applies to a single injury or condition; if you have multiple injuries, you will need separate codes for each so we can assess you properly and give the appropriate time needed for thorough care.

Your policy may require you to pay an initial amount before coverage applies. If this is the case, any policy excess will need to be paid directly to Physio Nation.

Most private health insurance policies include an excess or session limits. If your insurer does not cover a treatment, you will be responsible for any outstanding fees. It’s a good idea to check your policy, keep track of your sessions, and make sure your coverage is up to date.
Common reasons an invoice may not be covered:
Excess Fees: Your policy may require you to pay an initial amount before coverage applies.
Unauthorised Treatments: Treatments not pre-authorised, or beyond what your insurer has approved, will need to be paid by you.
Missed Appointments or Late Cancellations: These will incur a fee, which is payable by you and cannot be claimed through insurance.
For any questions about what your insurance covers, please check directly with your provider as we don’t have access to your policy details.
Cancellation Policy
Life happens - we get it! We just ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This allows us to offer your appointment to someone else. Late cancellations or missed sessions will incur a fee.
